High End Wood Refinishing

May 1, 2006 -- Gieseke Painting, Inc. has just finished a massive Ceiling refinishing project on
Victoria terrace, Fort Lauderdale Florida.
Project details: When we arrived at the scene the coating on the cypress ceiling was failing
dramatically showing signs of UV damage and aging associated with a lack of UV protection. The
putty in the nail holes which matched the wood originally had become sorely changed in color and
stood out like dozens of white spots on this very expensive ceiling.
Solution: We physically removed all the existing coating and removed all the putty in the nail holes
and re-stained the ceiling in a premium wood stain and matched a putty to blend in and disappear
with the wood and finally applied 2 coats of top of the line semi transparent wood finish.
